Before Bad Bunny Puerto Rico has been home to unique musical rhythms, from salsa to reggaeton, it all began with the first areítos or (celebrations) in Borikén, the first boricuas would sound conch shells, maracas and mayohuacanes (Taíno wood drum) for centuries. Later, the colonial socio-political process brought Spanish and African musical influences and manifestations like bomba, plena, danza, salsa and reguetón were born. This 4-hour experience takes you to Santurce, birthplace of salsa and urban music legends, Daniel Santos, Ismael Rivera, Rafael Cortijo, Pellín Rodríguez, Tito Rodriguez, Andy Montañez, El Gran Combo, Tommy Olivencia, Marvin Santiago, Cano Estremera, Big Boy, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Tego Calderón, Voltio, Olga Tañón, Gilbertito Santarosa, and many others.

Because Santurce is the largest barrio of San Juan; Puerto Rico and it is the downtown metro area that extends out of the colonial neighborhood of old san Juan. Founded by freed black Puerto Ricans and maroons from smaller island to the east, Santurce bread a strong cultural identity that is represented in the great numbers of artists and cultural manifestations. This is an urban tour that will visit the neighborhoods and communities where culture is expressed as an affirmation of our unique lifestyle and Puerto Rican traditions.
